The Victims Of Illegal Immigration
Printer FriendlyBy: Michelle Malkin
President Bush accuses those of us who want to secure America's borders and fully enforce our immigration laws of lacking "compassion."
Huh. Well, I have yet to hear an ounce of compassion from President Bush for America's countless casualties of lax immigration enforcement. Where's the sympathy for innocent, law-abiding citizens who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens and their open-borders enablers?
Nope, we haven't heard a word about the victims as the White House pours on its unadulterated pro-illegal alien rhetoric and "undocumented workers do the jobs Americans won't do" propaganda -- all in support of a massive, ill-timed, bureaucratic nightmare-inducing amnesty plan that will inevitably increase illegal immigration.
Last week, a notorious illegal alien serial killer who traipsed freely across the U.S.-Mexican border during a 25-year, escalating crime spree popped up in the news again. The case of Angel Resendiz, a convicted death row murderer in President Bush's home state of Texas, is a timely reminder of the deadly costs of our continued homeland security chaos.
Time and again, illegal alien day laborer Resendiz broke the law getting into our country; broke more laws while in the country; and then broke the law repeatedly and brazenly after being released, deported and allowed to return. His most brutal acts included the slayings of 12 people, ranging in age from 16 to 81, which ended in 1999 when Resendiz surrendered to a Texas Ranger in El Paso. For the last seven years, Resendiz has been perched comfortably on Death Row -- eating chocolate cream pies, watching Spanish-language television, whining about depression and selling locks of his hair on Internet auction sites.
His execution, scheduled for May 10, has been delayed pending yet another of his endless appeals claiming to be "insane."
As I recounted in my book "Invasion," Resendiz entered and exited our country at will. From the time he was 14, he racked up arrests and convictions ranging from trespassing, destruction of property, burglary, aggravated battery and grand theft auto to carrying a loaded firearm and false representation of U.S. citizenship. He had at least 25 encounters with U.S. law enforcement between August 1976 and August 1996, when he was arrested and released for trespassing in a Kentucky railyard.
During that period, he was convicted at least nine times on several serious felony charges. He was deported to Mexico by the feds at least three times and was "voluntarily returned" to Mexico at least four times without formal proceedings. Throughout 1998, the Border Patrol continued its blind catch-and-release policy -- apprehending Resendiz seven times and letting him go on his own recognizance despite his massive criminal record and three prior deportations. Shoddy fingerprint databases, immigration paperwork negligence and unpoliced borders led to:
-- The bludgeoning death of Florida teenager Jesse Howell and the rape and strangulation murder of his fiance, Wendy Von Huben.
-- The bludgeoning death of University of Kentucky student Christopher Maier and the rape and near-murder of his girlfriend, who survived the attack.
-- The murder of Leafie Mason, an elderly Texas woman whom Resendiz hammered to death with a fire iron.
-- The rape, stabbing and bludgeoning death of Baylor College of Medicine researcher Claudia Benton.
-- The sledgehammer bludgeonings of Texas pastor Norman Sirnic and his wife, Karen.
-- The bludgeoning death of Houston teacher Noemi Dominguez.
-- The murder of elderly Texas widow Josephine Konvicka, who was killed with a grubbing hoe.
-- The murders of George Morber, shot in the head, and Carolyn Frederick, clubbed to death.
The last four of Resendiz's victims were murdered after Resendiz had been released by federal immigration officials -- even though there were already warrants outstanding for his arrest.
Resendiz made a bloody mockery of our homeland security chaos. Congress and the White House are now preparing to add grave insult to fatal injury by refusing to fix the persistent problems that facilitated Resendiz's crimes.
Campaigning for amnesty this week, President Bush mouthed the open-borders mantra against tough deportation policies and lectured immigration enforcement advocates about their lack of sensitivity.
"I can understand it's emotional," he said, but "we're talking about human beings, decent human beings that need to be treated with respect."
I don't think the victims of "undocumented worker" Angel Resendiz would agree.

Your commments are totally irresponsible. You can't say that you have not heard compassion from President Bush for victims of crime can you? Or is your attitude toward illegal immigrants so distorted that they are now responsible for ALL of the crime in this country? Missie, I have news for you. I am a retired cop and I know for a fact that most of the crimes in this country are committed by- hang on to your hat cuz this is going to shock you---AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!! And guess what else, there are more illegal immigrants that are victims of violence from Americans than the reverse.
Sensationalizing the immigration problem by relating the acts of one total psycho (and don't get me wrong, there may be more) is just an irresponsible and inaccurate portrayal of the problem.
How about we do a roll call of the many mass-murderers that have come from within our lily-white borders? How about Charles Manson? John Wayne Gacy? Texas native Richard Ramirez? Richard Speck? Dennis Rader? David Berkowitz? Ted Bundy? Angelo Buono? Kenneth Bianchi? and Randy Kraft?
Hey, how about we say that since Wayne Williams and OJ Simpson are African-American, GWB should show more compassion for the victims of crime exacted by African-Americans?
C'mon Michelle, you can do better than that.

This story stands as an indictment of lax border security policies and immigration enforcement. It is high time someone spoke up for the thousands of murder victims whose murderers fled back across our porous borders to countries that thumb their noses at our American extradition requests. Tighter border security would help greatly to address this travesty of justice.
No amount of moral relativism and equivocation by the likes of straightshooter will justify or address this problem. Suggesting that somehow one crime justifies another is infantile.

In response to straightshooter.
Every police officer I've talked to in my city hates the fact that ICE forces them to release illegal aliens they come across in my city. They have also told me they are now the number one cause for traffic accidents in my city and are partly to blame for the high auto insurance rates in cities where there is high illegal alien population.
The once nice neighborhood I lived in is now a pit due to the influx of illegal aliens. House builders quit or have delayed building in that area because property values have gone down every year for the last five years due to the massive influx of illegal aliens in that neighborhood. I've also seen what were once thriving businesses fold because people will no longer go to that neighborhood because the crime rate has skyrocketed due mostly to illegal aliens. The only thriving business that neighborhood has now is a Mexican speaking bar, a Mexican food store and a Mexican food wagon on wheels.
You also miss the point that Michelle is making. It's not the fact that illegal aliens commit most of the crimes in the United States, they don't. It's the fact that one American life is too high a price to pay for illegal aliens who "take jobs that Americans won't do". By the way it's not they do jobs that Americans won't do, it's Americans won't do those jobs for slave wages.
Maybe you should go to some of the victim websites out there and read about some of the crimes that have been commited by illegal aliens. One account that I read about that turned my stomach was how an illegal alien gang raped, beat beyond reason (knocking out her teeth in the process) and then killed. Go read these stories from victims of crimes commited by illegal aliens and let me know if you can feel sorry for any of them because guess what, I don't.
We are supposed to be a sovereign nation governed by laws. If you have open borders you are no longer a sovereign nation. If I get a caught speeding I've broken the law and I'm expected to pay for breaking the law by fine and/or possible jail time. Are you going to sit there and tell me that somehow illegal aliens are better than me a American citizen who was born here and whose family was born here going back for generations?
The one other fact of all of this is that there is a legal way to come to this country. If illegal aliens can't be bothered to play by the rules why should we bend over backwards for them?
One other aspect I think a lot of people miss is this, what do you think will happen in this country if all of the sudden had 20 million illegal aliens in this country with the right to vote. It would turn this country upside down. Every election from that point on would be geared to turn things in favor of once illegal aliens while leaving Americans who were born here out twisting in the wind in cities that currently have a huge illegal alien population. This alone could destroy our American culture and our way of life as we know it.
Don't even get me started on the massive cost of prisons, schools, welfare and medical care that we the taxpayer get to cover for people who have no legal right to be in America.

Michelle let's be fair! This is one psycho example. I have many others to the opposite to share with everyone.
My father was born and raised Hispanic in Los Angeles. In the 1960's he moved to San Diego to start a business manufacturing leather crafted products. 40 years of business from 1965 to 1995 he hired many illegal Mexican workers who were hired legally because they had someone's green card. The factory was raided several times over the years and he was never sited by the agents because all the paper work lined up correctly on each worker. Usually they would return with the SAME cards and be hired back and then months or even years later be deported and come back again, with THE SAME card! Never was he cited for any violations.
For 40 years, He could NOT get skilled workers to do these type of jobs from local citizens, he tried over and over. Either they lacked the skills and had to be laid off or they quit because they saw no future in it for them.
He competed with overseas products and had to keep the pricing low. This meant no benefits, health insurance or comps were affordable. FUNNY HOW WE SEND JOBS OVERSEAS YET NEED IMMIGRANTS TO COME HERE AND DO MILLIONS OF JOBS FOR US COMPETING IN THE SAME INDUSTRY. Ironic isn't it? If you don't think this is true then look to the clothing manufacturers and the many oriental workers they employ, LEGAL AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! Many of whom are Phillipino. Michelle "You know what I'm talking about!"
Here's the point; My father over 40 years helped nearly 200 illegals eventually get their legal status and become US citizens. MANY became honest hard working renters and eventually homeowners. MANY of their children attended schools and colleges here making a better life for them and their parents. Several of them are LAWYERS, DOCTORS & PROFESSIONALS practicing here in the US. Very positive results from one individual.
The opposite to my experience is my Uncle's son who was born here just like his father. This boy was always in trouble because of being with the wrong crowd at our local schools. He eventually earned himself a life long sentence in jail.
Michelle, doesn't it always come down to the family morals? Their principles? Their discipline? Yes, let's keep illegal immigration under control but let's be fair when it comes to what we write about them as well!

I agree with President Bush on this one.
First, we aren't doing so well with our current population. We take for granted and are unwilling to protect and maintain the best things the United States has to offer. We're a spoiled population of entitlement unwilling to work, learn or sacrifice. We're committed to "what's in it for us." That's not what made this country strong, and that's what's destroying us from the inside out.
We need a new population. Our old one just isn't cutting it anymore.
Second, we talk a lot about "helping the poor" and "helping the children." Well, now we have poor people and disadvantaged children coming to us for help, and all we can think about is how they're inconveniencing us.
These are people who would love to be "deprived" of the things that our current lower economic class cries about being deprived of. They would love the opportunity to work for minimum wages, have electricity, running water, cars, food, clothing and schools for their kids. These are things they don't have in the countries they come from. They come here and are grateful for the things that our current lower economic class complains about.
I say let them come, let them work, and give them what they need. We will pay a sacrifice for this, but that is what giving is all about.
I'm powerfully tired of these arm-chair do-gooders who are in love with their phony, dime-store compassion that evaporates at the slightest hint of inconvenience.
As for the psycho: shoot him with a slow-moving bullet.

On April 21st in Connecticut, a 23-year-old illegal Guatemalan was charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle, two counts of making an improper turn or stop, driving with articles obstructing his view, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a proper license and failure to have insurance. He struck a corrections officer who was driving his motorcycle home from work. How many of these incidents have and will take place that most of the country will never hear about. The whole point of MIchelle's article is that if these illegal immigrants were not in this country to begin with, the majority of their victims would still be alive and their families wouldn't be visiting grave sites.

Straight shooter,
How typically bureaucratic ... American lives are just statistics to you, right? What the heck, what's a few thousand more dead Americans at the hands of illegal monsters, right?
You are right, we have a problem with our own citizens. We have criminals, and we have cops like you ... which is why I do not want even more crap coming in illegally.
Your worst nighmare is when the military finally has to step in. Because, when it finally gets that bad, Marshall Law will be declared, and your badge won't mean crap when the military rounds up the problem people.
You see, that's how it works ... do your damned job so that I don't have to.

I may sound like a fricken liberal, because as I read this, I agree with everyone. No! I'm not a flake. Let's not forget, it is only people on the bordering states that really have to worry. I'll be quite frank, they can't walk far, get far in a stolen car or live where winter is harsh. It should be an issue to vote on, but only in the states where it is a SERIOUS PROBLEM.
I just came from dropping my kids off at school, where there are many Mexicans (some legal some not). Somehow they don't live in our neighborhood, but go to their school??? When you look into the eyes of any child you can't help but sympathise with the hungry child. I always send extra food with my kids to school and tell them to share with ANY hungry children. They have and I've watched some bad attitudes change with kindness.
On the other hand, every time I turn on the news I am subject to a massive influx of Mexican faces: He shot.. he robbed.. he killed.. she filmed 12 yr old daughter beating up other child.. his 13 yr old cousin shot him w/ their grandfather's gun... he raped.. NOW HERE IS THE PART THAT MAKES ME WANNA CRACK: he molested... Here in lies the problem. Has anybody looked on the sex offenders website in the bordering state? Every time I do, I take my gun out and make sure it is loaded. Much of the problem is that much like in the Bonnie and Clyde movies of yesteryear, when they'd head to Mexico, many of their bad guys come here.
ANY CRIME AGAINST AN AMERICAN BY AN ALLIGAL SHOULD JAIL THE ILLEGAL! Who cares about the cost of the jail? Build MORE tent cities! Make jails cost less and offend more! After time is served, deport them and hopefully the borders will be more secure by the time they are deported!
My son only had ONE field trip this year and he doesn't get to go, because they are taking these elementary school kids to the BARIO. They are going to an area I won't even go. Ten years ago it was a nearly crime free area. It is now swarmed with illegals and they have a massive meth trade. It is also Mexican Mafia territory. So, that angers me! When I think of that I say "Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out!".
However, when I look at the children, I feel charitable. Just last night a teen mother crossed the border, cutting the baby's cord with nail clippers. Just so she could have the baby in America. That must suck, because when I was 9 mos. pregnant I could barely stand and I was only 15 lbs heavier.
If they love it so much here, then why do they act like Neanderthals once they are here? Why so much criminal activity (in bordering states) in the land of opportunity? ILLEGALS! Sorry to those who object. I live in it and with it. My children have been taught NO PREJUDICE! It is part of my Christian faith. My kids are very loving, but they are starting to see things with their own eyes.
As far as the meager wages they work for: That is why we have a MINIMUM WAGE. Slavery was abolished by a REPUBLICAN. Americans won't do the jobs quite honestly because they won't DARE try to hire an American for below min. wage. I've known Americans who would do anything on a short term basis for money. The cotton fields won't hire them. Why do we allow slavery? If they are going to hire "Guest Workers" they need to be payed a TAXABLE min. wage income, so that we won't have to support their families.
As far as "cop's" go, I know some. One is retired and before he was retired he was a DARE officer, because he loves kids. He DESPISES illegals, but loved the kids and served as a role model for them. Here's another problem: If they aren't forced to learn our language, how can those of us who speak English in this country even be charitable?
We can't explain nicely to the people who stop and block traffic that we don't do this in America, so we get pissed and beep, maybe some unintelligable obscenities will be exchanged. Sometimes the Mexican may shoot the American. It happened in the neighborhood that I lived in, when I first moved to AZ. They never found them, because all of the witnesses split and wouldn't say a thing. What does this say about our policies?
As far as W, I don't know why everybody thinks his answer is wrong any way he gives it. You should realize that his brother's wife is Mexican and his two nephews are half. So he sees them when approached with this. Not to mention, whatever his solution is, he is trying to be sure that the majority votes Republican, in the next elections. A Republican should be smart enough to know that politicians can't ALWAYS afford to be honest. Wake up and smell the truth! You cannot acheive a majority vote with a brutal attitude.
The liberal B Governor of AZ is trying to pass a Bill making it illegal to kill somebody to defend the sanctity of our home/car. W has tried hard to send help. She-male always vetoes it! We can only secure our borders with secure votes.
As far as this car insurance problem out here, we are the stolen car capitol. Most are stolen by illegals. It IS TRUE! I have a (Mexican) friend who works in the insurance industry. These are real statistics and she wants them all shot as they cross. She alienated every family member, outside of her immediate family. She was molested by 3 cousins and 2 uncles. She said it is a culture thing. YUK! Who can blame her for the way she feels?
I know I'm all over the map with this, but there is too MUCH to consider. Now Athling, I thought I was the one with the nasty attitude here. He is a retired cop and for all we know he's from Ohio, where little is known about what is happening here. Besides that was straightshooter, not shooter and I think he was just defending the pres. Which we will have to do, if we want another Republican in office to take care of this.
Living in the midst of this, I know this issue will take many years to resolve. Republicans aren't dumb enough to tip their hand to please Republicans, when they have to secure the vote. Everybody's view is different, due to different experiences. If one of my kids was molested by them, I'd buy an assault rifle and patrol the border myself. I don't see how this can be looked at from the perspective of cost alone by some. There is a lot to consider!

thanks for giving hope to us suffereing in the trenches, I and my extended family of 20 live in a neighborhood that was relatively recently moved into by illegal aliens.
there's heroin and crack dealing by foreign gangsters (Surenos 13) in front of our family home. One of us asked that they not lean on our car and that person had a knife against the throat and an ear cut "to remind to listen" we've seen US citizens killed by the hundreds and more lives ruined that wouldn't be if the illegals weren't protected against US citizens who try to get protection. At one point I asked in a small meeting why we wanted to build more Catholic housing projects with all the taxpayers money for illegals when where the ones they were planning to help already had heroin dealers in front of where they lived without ever complaining to police. City councilman (now CA State Assemblyman) John Laird had a press conference in front of my family home in which we were pointed at and it was said in spanish that we "needed to be punished" on the basis that even though I didn't say the heroin dealers were Latinos he felt that it was what I meant (they are Latinos who hate the US and are loyal only to Mexico)
City couuncil, manager and police are so afraid of being called racists that they have let hundreds of US citizens die who wouldn't otherwise be dead. some innocence are killed in the cross fire. the liberals all make us understand how, because of racist slumlords the poor Latinos HAVE to deal heroin on the streets, and anyway it's just to US junkies who have no excuse. But we live a place where pot is OK and youth are taught they must be positive to foreigners and the foreigners are trying to get customers by giving out laced joints and laugh when another US citizen dies of an overdose. Some of them would have but maybe half wouldn't have gotten addicted without the city's permissive attitude towards the street heroin marketplace, some are dispalced poor white&black Americans some are misguided UC students.
Even if you don't care about any of them and their families grief, just to completely innocent who were killed to promote the illegals take over is tragic. I'll be glad to provide more dirt.

Darn it ... no Libs pounced on my spelling 'Marshall Law'.
Marshall is the vigilante who lives down the block. Marshall is fed up with Fed cops who don't do what they're actually paid to do.
When Marshall finally tangles with the federal marshalls, which is inevitable, the military will be called in.
So here's a no-brainer: Why would I shoot my cousin Marshall?

Let's see. We have laws concerning immigration that certain persons (largely from Mexico and Latin America) are violating. Some (not all) of them are coming here and committing other crimes. They stay in their own communities, do not learn English or become Americans, and we pay for their education and healthcare. The President wants to give them some form of amnesty, but call it a "guest worker" program.
Does anyone else see the obvious here? If we import persons from other countries who do not care about this country, will we not import criminals with them?
The way to solve this is to enforce the existing laws and remove the illegals. As for the criminal element (those who commit violent crimes, such as rape, murder, robbery, and so on), I say that we kill them.

We do not need a new population, the vast Majority works for a living & is not enamored by the prospect of receiving entitlements, latest statistics show that the US economy boast what our politicians call "full employment" approximately 4% unemployeed. The politicians & MSM brag to us about this with the right fork of their tongues while the other fork continually spouts the BIG LIE that immigrants do the "work Americans won't do". Americans are smarter than our politicians think, else why do the Pols gerrymander & pass laws such as to guarantee their personal re-election? Because if they didn't, they wouldn't be re-elected, assuming they were opposed by an honest man of any Party. Because they know that we know that 'entry level jobs' or 'mimimum wage jobs' are continually being outmoded by technological advances, & persons whoi have done these jobs are being promoted. If their is no one American to do the job, it is because they have gone to school for job training in another field. Not the farm field where most Mexican immigrants are said to work, or service jobs. In fact, take a look at modern farm equipment. Most family farms have had to sell out to corporate farms because they are unable to afford these machines, without financial ruin, & those Americans still in the farm business have probably gone to traning to be operators of these modern machines.

Freay,
There was a time when Barrios were protected by the local toughs, and life in the Barrio was safe for those who lived there.
Them came the Salvadorian marxists and their gang wars to carve out a niche in crime to support their political agenda.
That agenda was to take over the Mexican Mafia.
These aren't crime gangs in the usual sense ... these are political gangs that prey upon Latinos first, to recruit them, and Anglos second, to anhiliate them.
The government is faced with a Meth epidemic these gangs keep going ... to anhiliate the Anglos.
That's fine with me ... get rid of the dope loving Liberal scum first ... then fire all of the 'do nothing Feds' second ... and then we are going to settle with the gangs in a very direct manner.
My word to the marxist gangs is ... Welcome to America. Plan to stay for eternity.

Hey Gang!
I totally understand where you are coming from as a group. I grew up with a very hispanic/Italian looking face. The Mexicans at my school resented Mexican/Americans. They traveled their own circles because of the LANGUAGE barrier. They were unfair and prejudice to Mexican/Americans who had roots in a great society that they were not officially part of. We were the equivilent of the black OREO. It came down to envy and jealousy. These were due to poor family upbringing.
My mother raised us with the right attitude towards people. Three principles were her foundation of law at home.
3.Respect - Always respect the rights and property of other people. Respect for the law and for older people.
2. Responsibility - Always be responsible for your own actions and never blame someone or something for your own problems. Be responsible for yourself which includes taking care of yourself.
1. The LORD will provide and take care of you! Have faith in Him and pray, then faith in yourself will grow along with character.
It's the family morals and principles that make or break the family, even illegals.
It's funny how the focus of this forum seems more angry than positive. It also seems odd to me that NO ONE referenced my first posting which is a true life story of the positive side of illegals. Why did every one avoid the subject? Are we not willing to acknowledge the good side of this issue? Are we being fair? Not all of these illegals are bad people. They are a minority.
The real problems are the gang leaders, drug dealers and worse the political agenda types who steer these people in the wrong direction for their own gain. Why can't we correct the source of the problem amd not generalize the condition towards all illegals?

My interpretation of all the perinent provisions of the US Constitution is: only US citizens, as now defined, male and female, 18, born to US citizens or naturalized may vote in any US jurisdiction, serve on a jury, receive any benefits, or act in the militia; except they may serve in the US arned Forces upon federal soil or foreign assignment. That "illegal immigrants, illegal aliens, undocumented workers, guest workers, citizenship challenged, illegal resident, or any other euphemism" utilized to describe an illegal person habitating on US soil have by their Lawless behaviour removed themselves and any of their dependents, including offspring born in the US while they are in an illegal status, from the direct jurisdiction and protection, or any benefits which may be derived from US,State,or Local laws. Nor may they be counted for representation in the legislative bodies of the US or of any State. Because, in priciple and in fact, by voting in elections or as a juror - illegal immigrants, or any other category of non-citizen [convicts], do not have the requisite knowledge or standing to judge candidates for office, or the accused, & will dilute the one man-one vote of any and all US citizens.

OOPS!! "by their Lawless behaviour have removed themselves from direct jurisdiction (unless apprehended), or the EQUAL PROTECTION, or any benefits (or entitlements available by Right) which may be derived from US, State, or local laws (to US citizens)."

My uncle's kids have a godfather who is hispanic. Their godfather served in the American military and is a decorated war hero. Their godfather is an illegal alien who never wanted to give up his Mexican nationality.
This whole thing is driven by politics and greed ... and the innocent workers in the middle are getting screwed.
However ... when vast numbers of people invade, then have the gall to march in the streets and get in your face, and when they 'demand' that we do it their way ... games up ... time to stomp the crap out of every one, including the damned do nothing fed cops, and the damned politicians.
Why am I saying this?
I just heards another threat over the media ... the question was asked why 'we' would want a war with the illegals.
That's deliberate provocation from the marxists to generate what ... panic?
There are not enough illegals in America to win any kind of war if 'we' get pissed off.
Who's going to help them, the limp wrist libs? Yeah, sure.
But Bubba is angry, and Bubba is ready to crack some skulls ... it's that bad right now ... why? ... because 'they' are doing the provoking.

Athling; I'd say your Uncle's children's Hispanic godfather has earned at least legal resident status having served in the US Military. It is His choice not to give up Mexican citizenship in this case, though it is beyond my feeble comprehension as to why. Serving in the US Armed Forces requires an oath to uphold, defend, protect, obey the US Constitution. I think An Active rank, or Honorable Discharge is sufficient to gain legal resident status, & jump a person, & by extension, immediate family to the front of the line for citizenship, that is, the 5 year time requirement should be waived for him, & them provided each passes the exam, & takes the citizenship oath.

Further, I think, should a non-citizen person give his life for the US in military service, his immediate family should be jumped forward by waiving the 5 year wait period to take the citizenship exam & take the loyalty oath. An individual or a small family group seeking citizenship whether by the 5 year period or jumped forward due to military service is an Okay method of obtaining citizenship by taking the exam & oath, for legal residents and even illegals. What I object and protest is that a blanket amnesty/pardon for the crime of breaking our immigration laws is UNConstitutional by abridging the Rights, privileges & immunities of bona fide US Citizens. An Individual seeking citizenship rights whether by the legal time/wait period or attempting to accelerate the process by Military service is a conscious and admirable choice of that individual who will willingly take the exam & The Oath of Loyalty, A Blanket amnesty/pardon and/or fast track to citizen status will abridge the privileges and immunities of citizens and negate the principle of one man/one vote of the bona fide citizens by dilution.

DeepThroat,
You must have missed my rant because it was too long to read or something. I didn't personally name you, but I did say that I saw both sides and somehow I understand everybody's view. However, the thruth is that I see the danger as the most important issue to observe, especially having young kids. I wouldn't be a real Mother if I didn't put thme first. Yet the message they receive from me is not to think you are better than anybody.

Having served in 'our' military justified his own children being American even though he kept his Mexican citizenship. I grew up with his kids and they're 'family'.
In the Viet Nam era many Canadians, especially French Canadians, served in our military even as American cowards were running to hide in Canada.
Sometimes commonality of interest is enough to fight for.
Despite our petty quarrels, Mexico has always been a good ally against outsiders. That's why I'm furious that this whole issue has been hijacked into a political storm.
Note that Tyson Foods ... Clinton's good buddies ... had to shut down its meat packing plants during this boycott.
Since when is meat packing a job an American won't do?
This is scab labor to bust unions for businesses that are all kissed up to the DNC ... and then they have the nerve to play the race and poverty card.
How many Americans, including Hispanic Americans, are out of work at Tyson Foods because these illegals took their jobs?
This is Dixiecrat plantation politics. And the stupid Media doesn't, or won't get it.
Worse yet, this is how the Soviet Elites set themselves up ... living good off of slave labor. And, yes, this is corporate slavery.
Who's behind it? Mr. Prime Rate ... the bankers.

A statistic of note heard on Chris Crock show WSB-Atlanta 750AM tonite 5/2/06: since 1980 the workforce in the US meat-packing industry has gone from almost 100% American born mostly Whites to near 100% mostly Mexican immigrants (& mostly illegals?). During the same period 1980-2005, the average pay in the meat-packing industry has decreased from $19+ to $9+ per hour BY HALF!!!! The Mexican immigrants are taking the jobs we will not do???? Pay scale drops are happening in all industries where Illegal immigrants are under cutting American workers- Construction is another. Quality workmanship is down in Construction industry, if you can believe American contractors. How many times lately have we had meat recalls???? Jack-in-the-Box. That Nebraska beef packer a couple years past recalled Tons. I will not be celebrating Stinko de Mayo this year. Also heard on Crock Show- The Ammerican MSM is in a conspiracy against itself over the reporting of Illegal immigration, they are now all: ABC(Disney), CBS (Viacom), NBC(GenElectric),CNN (AOL-Time-Warner), & maybe Fox(NewsCorp), & many other lesser ownership chains are now referring to illegals as just plain immigrants as in- here it comes- IMMIGRATION RIGHTS!!!! These ENGLISH speaking News reporting outlets are trying to ingratiate themselves to an audience that speaks SPANISH, & has NO DESIRE to learn ENGLISH!!!! They are deliberately devaluing their own SHARE VALUE!!!! That's a Felony.

Tyson Foods ... three factories shut down during the boycott ... is Clinton's patron.
I guess if ya bribe the right DNC people, they will turn a blind eye when that corp uses illegal alien scabs to break a union.
This isn't about illegal rights ... this is about the DNC breaking unions for specific companies ... and the MSM are in on it.
The Japanese rose out of the ashes by copying OUR formula ... the synthesis between good managemant and good labor unions is the key.
Any business that cannot operate with a union in house is incompetent ... any union that sells out to DNC social engineering is suicidal.
Kiss it good bye folks ... once the 'skills' are gone, they're gone ... it takes a generation to get what America had before this sell out arrived.
