michelle malkin reports that the AP is now comparing terri schiavo to a robot.

Sit down across from Kismet and it gives you a pleasant smile. Step too close and it jumps back with a startled expression on its face. Introduce yourself and it waits patiently for you to finish talking, then replies with a few syllables of speech that sounds like a higher-pitched version of the language spoken by the teachers in 'Charlie Brown' cartoons.

i have a pet chihuahua. his name is brunch. he is quite ugly, but that is beside the point.

if i sit down next to him, his tail begins to wag. if i yell at him for eating a shoe, he runs away and cries. when i give him a bacon flavored soy treat, he licks my face.

if i were to stop feeding him and giving him water, i would be arrested. and rightfully so!

as terri enters her 9th day of "joyful bliss" i still can't help but be dumbfounded that the judiciary now places more value on the life of an 8 pound flea bag than a responsive living human being.

truly this is a mark on our national soul; it will come back to haunt us in one way or another.
